    This head wrap is made of Authentic African Mud Cloth Fabric. You may receive a different design than the one shown but the same high quality. There are many ways to wear and tie it so you’ll be able to achieve the perfect look for you. It can also be worn as a scarf, shawl, or sash.

    Great sustainable fabric made with natural colors from Mother Earth.

    No two pieces of mud cloth are exactly alike, the patterns vary from one piece to the next. They’re great for clothing, home decoration, crafts and other creative pursuits. African artisans hand-dye symbols into these fabrics in order to tell stories of their villages and African proverbs. Mudcloth has a long tradition of being used by West African warriors and hunters to camouflage themselves. Nowadays, people across the globe are wearing them to stand out and celebrate their connection to the African continent.

    All mudcloth is individually hand spun, hand woven, and hand painted. Each piece is different.

    Excellent customer service from this shop.

    Beautiful fabric. Because of how thick it is, you get a lot of volume and it looks very regal on your head. One of the other cloths has separated a bit at the seams, hopefully this will not happen to all of them. Keep in mind it is also only 11" wide, it looks like a scarf or table runner. It can only be tied a few different ways or it will not fully cover your head and there aren't many tutorials on scarves this thin. Ask for a larger size just in case.
